Sometimes when I'm writing music, I get uncertain if what I'm doing
actually is good or if it stinks and that's when I ask others for
opinions (natürlich). So, if you find any mp3's here, it's because I
want feedback. Please feel free to have an opinion...

FWAA - Space talk (pre 3).mp3 2.6M

Skipped the cheesy intro, cleaned up the base, extended the length of
the whole piece (it's now 2:45, which still is rather short if you ask
me) and added a few silly extras. However, I feel I have to come up
with a completely different base, the present one feels too chaotic
and annoying. I also feel I should add more "extras" that breaks up
the monotony of the song.

And yes, there's a recording error 1:52 into the song. Unfortunately.
But hey, it's just a preview!

The song is now closing in to a final state. There's still things to
do about it, but I start to feel that it actually works. Besides, I'm
starting to run out of syntheseizers to play on. ;-)

FWAA - Space talk (pre 1).mp3 396K

After creating the drum-patterns (with considerable help from Roke) I
was fooling around with different sounds and melodies and at one point
I was browsing the sounds and noises in my Yamaha TX81Z while slapping
the keyboard haphazardously with my other hand. That created a very
interesting funky effect, which I of course had to use!

So I MIDI-recorded the TX81Z at the same time as I held INC+ pressed
on one track and then I recorded some really uninspired keyboard
playing on another, tidied it all up (not enough) with quantizise, and
voilá!
